⒈  系在弓背两端的、能发箭的绳状物：弓弦。弦韦（“弦”指弓弦，“韦”是兽皮，弦紧皮软，喻性子急缓不同。古人佩弦来警戒自己的性缓，佩韦以警戒自己的性急；后遂用“弦韦”喻朋友的规劝）。弦月（农历每月初七、八或二十二、三，月亮半圆，形似弓弦，故名）。上弦（农历每月初七或初八的月相）。下弦（农历每月二十二或二十三的月相）。应弦而倒。
