⒈ 篆刻流派。清乾隆间丁敬开创，成员先后有蒋仁、黄易、奚冈、陈豫钟、陈鸿寿、赵之琛、钱松等，因诸人均为浙江籍，故称。治印宗尚秦汉，兼采众长，善用切刀，艺术上有较高成就。又因八人都是浙江杭州人，故也称“西泠八家”。
⒉ “浙西词派”和“浙西诗派”的简称。
