⒈ 简称“关贸总协定”。有关关税和贸易政策的国际性多边协定，也是有约束力的最大国际贸易契约组织。1947年10月30日，由二十三个国家代表在日内瓦签订。此后协定内容多次修订，成员也不断扩大，至1994年4月达一百二十三个国家和地区。该协定的宗旨是在互惠互利的基础上削减关税和其他贸易壁垒，削除国际贸易中的歧视待遇。1994年在第八轮乌拉圭回合谈判中达成建立世界贸易组织的协议。
