⒈ 旧称“音障”。飞机的最大飞行速度接近声速时出现的阻碍飞行速度的现象。包括飞机阻力剧增、升力减小、螺旋桨效率下降并出现自动低头力矩和尾翼抖振、机翼抖振等。后改进飞机的空气动力外形，并发展大推力喷气发动机，已实现超声速飞行。
